Appointments are required for all license and permit applications, with the exception of vendors and adult entertainers.  An appointment must be arranged by calling the License and Permit Unit Hotline at 404-546-4470. 

At a minimum, applicants must bring:

• Valid government-issued identification
• Notarized SAVE Affidavit
• Three reference letters

Depending on the application, fees and other documentations will be required.

Acceptable forms of payment are money order and cashiers check made payable to the City of Atlanta.

Fingerprinting and background checks are required for all applications.
