The Clean and Close process is as follows:  

The property owner generally has 30 days to comply after the Board has issued an order. If  the property is not complied, the following steps occur. 
      • Clean and Close project awarded to contractor
      • Joint inspection of site between the In Rem staff and contractor is scheduled to finalize the cost (inspection scheduled within 3 to 5 days of the award).
