Open records requests for documents or video maintained by the Department of Aviation may be submitted via email to openrecordsatl@atl.com. 

Georgia law requires the custodian to produce the records within three business days of receipt of the request – and we will make every reasonable effort to comply. However, if the records are unavailable within three business days, the City will respond to the requestor in writing and provide an anticipated date in which the responsive documents may be released. If access to the records is denied, the City will state in writing the legal authority under which it is withholding the records. If the Department of Aviation is not the custodian of the records, the requester will receive a letter stating such fact, including a reference to the appropriate source.
