The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for the metro Atlanta region, serving the City of Atlanta as well as Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale counties.  If you do not live in the Atlanta region, you can find an area agency on aging to help you in Georgia by visiting the Division of Aging Services or nationwide at www.n4a.org and www.eldercare.acl.gov

Empowerline, the Atlanta Region’s ADRC, is part of Georgia’s Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) network, a No Wrong Door access point for free information requests and assistance.  They serve as the front desk for older adults, persons with disabilities of all ages, families, caregivers, and professionals who need help navigating life changes and surprise obstacles in their homes, with their health, and in their communities.  Empowerline has access to a Language Line that can be used to interpret and translate requests for Limited English Proficient and Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals.  Together, they work to simplify complex program offerings, identify long-term services, and support solutions, and reduce caregiver burden.

The ARC’s ADRC has a proven track record for helping disabled or aging individuals preserve independence and quality of life while staying safely in the community. Contact Empowerline for assistance with care giving, managing a chronic condition, managing a disability, and many more services.

Contact AAA/ADRC/Empowerline Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm at 404-463-3333 or visit our website below.
